Lake Andes Policies Overview
We value the comfort and safety of our guests. As such, we appreciate your cooperation with our policies as listed below.
Notice to Guests: By checking-in guests agree to observe the RV park policies & house rules. This property is privately owned, and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, or valuables of any kind.
Check-In/Check-Out:
In Person Check-in Times only between 3 PM and 9 PM

- Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card at check-in.
- The minimum age for check-in is 18.
The person who signs the check-in form or makes the online reservation is responsible for all payments, including any additional fees or charges for damages or violations, if applicable.
- Check out by 10 AM
If you require an earlier check-in or later check-out, please give us a call - we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. Fees may apply.
Early Check-In
- Early check-ins are subject to room availability. For check-ins before 1 PM, there might apply a $30 fee. Early check-in fees are waived for our Loyalty Members.
- If you need an early check-in, please let us know when making your reservation.
- Arrivals after 9 PM who need personal assistance need to be arranged the day before arrival.
In Person Check-In After 9 pm
- If you need assistance to check in later than 9 pm, please arrange this with us in advance! Unarranged late check-ins will incur in a cancellation of your reservation. Cancellation charges will apply.
Late Check-Out
- A $50 fee may apply for checkouts between 10:15 PM and 12 PM. Full-day charges will apply for checkouts past 12 PM. Please request a late check-out as soon as possible, but no later than 9 PM before the day you are scheduled to check out.
Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before arrival (by 3 PM) to avoid charges. Within 48 hours, a one-night fee per room will be charged.
- During Fish Days and holiday weekends we require at least 2 weeks’ notice for cancellations or
reservation changes to avoid a one-night fee per room. - During hunting season and fishing tournaments we require at least 91 days notice for cancellations or reservation changes to avoid fees. Cancellations made:
- 45-90 days before the arrival date will be charged 50% of the total stay
- 15 to 44 days before the arrival date will be charged 75% of the total stay
- 14 days before arrival will be charged 100% of the total stay. - Same-day or last-minute bookings (within 24 hours of check-in) require full payment for the entire stay and are non-refundable.
- Reservation changes must be submitted by 3:00 PM at least 48 hours before the scheduled arrival.
- Once checked in, cancellations or shortening the stay are no longer possible.
Children:
- Children of all ages are welcome at our establishment, but please ensure they are not left unattended at any time for their safety and well-being.
- Parents are fully responsible for their children and any actions they take while on the premises.
- At this property, children aged 12 and above are considered adults for the purposes of room occupancy limits.
Cooking & Frying:
- Cooking is only allowed in the pavilion. You’ll find an air fryer, toaster, microwave, and griddle ready for you there.
- Oil frying anywhere on the premises is strictly prohibited due to fire code regulations. Violation fee $500, plus a permanent ban from the property
Room Occupancy: Maximum room occupancy must be adhered to. Please inquire at the front desk for options if you have additional guests.
Pets: All well-behaved pets are welcome at this property to stay with you in our pet-friendly rooms. Please check the pet policy and fees here.
Smoking: Our motel is a smoke-free environment. This includes all forms of smoking including vaping. Smoking is permitted in the designated areas next to the pavilion only. Littering cigarette butts will result in a minimum fee of $25. A minimum fee of $250.00 will be charged for smoking inside the motel.
Drugs: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding the possession, use, distribution, or sale of illegal and recreational drugs on our property. A minimum fee of $500.00 will be charged for violating our drug policy. Please find our full Drug Policy here.
Litterling: Littering of cigarette butts or trash on the property will result in a minimum charge of $25 plus 6.2% tax.
Safety: Guests found to be negligently causing a fire will be held responsible for any damage and may face legal consequences in accordance with local laws.
Parking: Complimentary parking is available for guests. One vehicle and one boat per room are allowed. Please ensure that your boat does not cause damage to the pavement, as you will be held responsible for any resulting damages incurred.
Visitors: Visitors other than the guests officially checked in are not permitted in the rooms, BBQ area and the pavilion at any time.
Damages & Missing Items: Please note that any permanently stained, damaged items or missing items will be charged to your account. Guests are responsible for any damages to the room or motel property during their stay. Fitted sheet $30, Flat Sheet $40, Pillow Case $15, Pillow Protector $10, Bath Mat $20, Bath Towel $15, Hand Towel $7.50, Wash Cloth $5, Coffee Towel $5. All prices plus 6.2% Sales Tax.
Quiet hours: For the comfort of all our guests, quiet hours are observed from 10 PM to 7:30 AM.
Amenities and Services: Please enjoy the amenities provided for your comfort and convenience. If you require additional services or have specific needs, contact the front desk.
Fish & Game Handling: Please refer to our full Fish and Game Handling Policy for guidelines on processing and storing your catches using our complimentary cleaning shed. No fish or game is allowed in the motel rooms.
Other:
- Please note, while we’re dedicated to offering a welcoming and safe environment, we do want to remind our guests that the Lake Andes Inn is privately owned. This means our management reserves the right to refuse service at their discretion, without needing to provide a reason.
- We care deeply about your safety and peace of mind, but we advise keeping your valuables secure as we can’t take responsibility for personal items.
- In the event of an eviction, all money, deposits, and rents will be forfeited.
