Fish And Game Handling Policy

Here at Lake Andes Inn, we’re all about enjoying the great outdoors and the bounties it offers.

No Fish or Game in Rooms:

We strictly prohibit cleaning, processing, or storing fish, game, or other wildlife in our motel rooms. This policy is in place to maintain a clean, odor-free, and enjoyable environment for all guests. Violations will incur a $300 fine, along with any additional cleaning fees or charges for damages.

Cleaning Shed Available: For your convenience, we offer a dedicated cleaning shed equipped for the cleaning, processing, and temporary storage of your harvest. This facility is available free of charge to all our guests. Please handle game and fish responsibly, follow the cleaning shed rules, and respect our policies to avoid fines.

Accessing the Shed: Please contact the front desk to obtain the key to the cleaning shed. Our staff will be happy to assist you and provide any additional information you may need. 

Usage Guidelines: When using our fish and game cleaning shed, we want to remind everyone that while we provide this space for your convenience, Lake Andes Inn and its management can’t be held responsible for any injuries or harm that might occur during the cleaning process. We ask that you please clean the shed after use, disposing of waste and leftovers in the designated areas. This courtesy ensures the facility remains clean and accessible for other guests.
