Policy Against Human Trafficking and Prostitution

Commitment to Ethical Practices and Safety

At Lake Andes Inn, we are deeply committed to ethical practices, the safety of all individuals on our premises, and the fight against human trafficking and prostitution. Upholding the dignity and rights of every person, we strictly enforce the following policy:

Zero Tolerance: We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of human trafficking or prostitution on our property. This applies to all guests, employees, contractors, and management.

Legal Compliance: Our establishment complies with all local, state, and federal laws regarding human trafficking and prostitution. We cooperate fully with law enforcement in any investigations or actions related to these illegal activities.

Training: Our staff are trained to recognize and respond to indicators of human trafficking and prostitution. This includes understanding the signs of potential exploitation and knowing how to report suspected cases to management and, if necessary, to law enforcement.

Reporting: We encourage guests and employees to report any suspicious behavior that could indicate human trafficking or prostitution. Reports can be made anonymously to management, who will take appropriate action, including notifying law enforcement.

Privacy and Safety: While we are vigilant in our efforts to combat human trafficking and prostitution, we also respect the privacy and rights of our guests. Investigations and actions will be conducted with discretion and care to ensure the safety of potential victims.

Consequences: Any person found to be involved in human trafficking or prostitution will be subject to immediate removal from the property and may face legal action.

Support for Victims: We are committed to supporting victims of human trafficking. Information on local resources and support services is available through our management team.

Contact Information: For questions, concerns, or to report suspicious activity, please contact our front desk or management team directly. Your safety and security are our highest priority, and we are here to help.
